A 2013 Epilepsy Foundation World Changers Gala co-honoree, Warren Lammert has spent nearly 20 years managing and supporting organizations focused on epilepsy research and new therapies. Since he founded the Epilepsy Therapy Project in 2003, Warren Lammert has leveraged his skills as an experienced investment and finance executive to promote the development and commercialization of new therapies and epilepsy. Warren became active in epilepsy philanthropy after his then-infant daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy in 1998. His work to advance innovative therapies for epilepsy including advocacy for cannabis as a therapy has been covered by MSNBC, CBS, and the New York Times. Warren serves today as board member of the national Epilepsy Foundation and of the New York University-affiliated Finding a Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures (FACES). In addition, Mr. Lammert serves as the CIO and CEO of Granite Point Capital, a Boston based investment firm. He founded Granite Point after spending 15 years as an analyst and portfolio manager. He holds a BA in economics from Yale University and an MS in economic history from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
